The Van Wyck Baseball team finished their season with a nine, one, and one record.  The team showed great character and 8th grade leadership by battling back from a 10 to 5 deficit to finish in a 10 to 10 tie last night at John Jay.  Thanks for a great season boys! Coach Cheney and Coach Testa.

Ms. Toufali teaches Science on Team 7C.

Listen to her interview.

What her students said:

"Ms. Toufali has been an inspiration. She is so funny and nice in school! When I was in sixth grade my Math teacher was my favorite, but I have never even thought about being a Math teacher, but ever since this year I have really liked Science and I consider it to be my favorite subject. I love going to school and walking in to see the smile on Ms. Toufali's face, It really brightens up the day!!! When I grow up, I might even consider to be a Science Teacher!"

"Ms. Toufali is a great Life Science teacher! She is so funny, and makes our Science classes so much fun! From dissections to taking notes, our class always has a laugh! Ms. Toufali really helps me and others understand Science, and now it's my favorite subject!"
